I was expecting xbox to win this... It always does, coz they always compare multiplat games that are made based on the 360 console. Compare Killzone 2 with Halo 3 or Uncharted 2 with Gears of War 2 using HDMI and you'll see a big difference when a game is made based on the PS3 console. I have both consoles by the way. And Halo 3 looks quite awful with all the jaggies on a big HD TV, unlike the other 3 games I mentioned. Hey, one can (almost) always make the comparisons at the stores too, right...? Cheers guys!
Obviously PC wins, like Sarju said it himself (I say this without even considering the above pictures), and that's a technical expectation. Then again I think that by now these two consoles beeing graphically compared is quite a dumb thing to do, or believe. It's been proven that it's a matter of how the Developers port their games over to the other console. The AV cables that shifted with my 360 resemble the Composite Cables (sold separate for the PS3), and both have the same visual result (I best confirmed this on GTA4 when reading the e-mails; where the PS3 makes it hard to read if you use the normal cables that shift with the console, and I always play it with the Flicker Filter "OFF" on the PS3, so that the visuals are clearer.) On an HD TV there is no difference whatsoever between the PS3 and the 360, only lighting contrast, which was defaulted at higher for the 360 but can more than easily be equalized on the PS3 with the TV's own lighting contrast settings. That said, I don't think people should rely on these screens to make these comparisons, or base opinions on, and I personally think that this is just another way to fuel the console wars so that sites like these keep getting lots of traffic from fanboys and other people that don't bother to see things for themselves (no offense but this is ignorance). But it sure is a good Insurance Pollicy by Gamespot.
Developer excuses... Can someone tell me why Uncharted never needed an installation...? Or even Oblivion, which was a technical benchmark when it came out for the PS3...? Developers really need to start making some serious homework on the PS3...

I agree with "bluevolutions", people have been a bit ignorant (to say the least) since the release of PS3.... Sure Sony can drop the price, but that would mean cutting some hardware too (which is what 360 did, and also the reason why PS3 is a more powerful system). What people need to understand (especially those who keep saying that the 360 is cheaper than the PS3) is that it is a full package gaming system. You buy it, and you have it all, end of the line. With 360, you buy it, and you are still looking at TONS of add-ons wich will rip your pockets off your pants! Making it more expensive when properly compared with the PS3 actually. The only thing that Sony needs to conentrate at in this stage (in my selftrusted opinion) is its exclusive titles. 360 has been out longer and hence many people have bought it. Knowing that people might not have the money to get a new console, developers who used to make exclusives to Sony are now going multiplatform, logically they want their games to sell as much as possible... And Microsoft is going on low blows on Sony, trying to convert PS exclusive titles like Grand Theft Auto, Devil May Cry and even Final Fantasy to add them to own exclusives list. Those are serious low blows that Sony needs to watch out for, cuz MS is playing dirty (like a little kid who throws sand at your eyes and then kicks you on your parts just so he can run away with what's yours). You don't see Sony trying to get Halo do ya? (How I miss DOA beeing for the PS, sigh... Well at least we're getting Gaiden) AND TECMO BETTER NOT CROSS OVER AGAIN!
