They do collect data and when you agree to terms and service you just agreed to let them gather that data, only now with the all knowing kinect.

Xbox will make millions off advertising or rather selling you're info to advertisers. That's exactly why there's a kinect in every box .

I think the fact they can't get some of the features from kinect working at launch lead people to believe it was rushed. If its been in development for so long then why doesn't it work? Also if its been ready then why cancel the European release dates till 2014? Should have a few made already right?

And if you wanted to get people excited for your product over the competition, then why not let the world know your coming out before the competition, the silence on a release date makes me feel like there are issues with it.

Wow I can't believe they won't offer a version of the console without kinect, they can't even get it to work. If it wasn't really ready you should never have come out talking it up as the next big thing.
