@dacontag: I imagine after so many years they will assume a "refresher" is need and include that in some form or another.

@snugglebear: Been playing the 1.5+2.5 myself. I played 1 & 2 when they were first released. It's amazing how much better then pacing is in 2 vs 1 so enjoy!

Fantastic show, with my only real complaint being the townspeople fight. To be vague: What's up with the effectiveness and why on earth are ice walls used for things with wings?

Seems to have a lot of ill used or "fake" depth with several of its systems. How unfortunate. I can only hope this isn't such a bomb as to ruin the franchise because I'd love to play more like the first one.

@Daveof89: I pretty much give a free pass during E3. Their schedules are insane and everything is on fire over there I imagine. Outside of E3, mistakes happen. Frequency is what you care about in that regard :)

People need to realize that it doesn't matter how a game was developed. It doesn't matter if 2 people developed it or if a team of 100 did it on Apple 2's while floating down the Zambezi river. The game is $40 dollars. That means $20 more and you get Uncharted 4.

Also, price is only a factor. If it was the be all end all then every free game would be a 10/10 because it doesn't matter how un-fun or broken it is if you paid nothing for it. This isn't how reviews work :)

@tranceology3: "which in turn offers some entertainment" - No it does not. As someone who grew up in section 8 housing, ate food thanks to foodstamps and who's parents only had a used, beat up, constantly breaking down car thanks to my brothers SSI I can assure you it does not. It only helps with shelter, food and basic needs such as medical care. Definitely does not provide any entertainment.

I still had some video games (on the NES, even though the SNES was out I never got one). I'd get them on my birthday and Christmas. My parents saved up and bought them slowly but surely. To say poor people would never purchase entertainment is not correct. They don't purchase as much, or as often, but it is still a potential sale. Saying otherwise is oversimplifying reality.

That being said, I like the thought your comment gave me. See for me, as I grew up poor the Salvation Army, church sponsorships, etc. really helped provided me with childhood toys I would have not had otherwise. It'd be awesome to have systems like that in place but for video games (perhaps salvation army does that now-a-days?)

@putaspongeon: I'd love a Nissan GTR but can't afford it. I want to race with the other guys at the fair grounds Sunday morning and they get to drive theirs! I deserve it - brb goona go steal a car.

Third time typing this but I feel you'll agree: the game is not an apple and they aren't starving.
