I personally did not love this game. I'd recommend the Virtual Console version as well just to save you money. I would only say to try this game if you are curious as to what games were like in the late 80's as far as the RPG genre was concerned. However, if you were going to do that, you'll probably enjoy Final Fantasy II more as its story telling was much better.
