I have both of those consoles and Xbox One gets played for Forza 6 but it's by far the most unused system behind even the Wii U, that should change since the Wii U is packed up and the Switch is here taking it's place. 11 months after Uncharted 4 question and then sit there smug as if Sony went without exclusives that whole time. @sellingthings: Considering that 150 million PS2 sold before the market got this huge, you are off your rocker if you think enough PS4's have sold. Not even close, the world has almost 7 billion on it and only about 1 percent bought a PS4. Switch will change the handheld market for sure, console market highly doubtful. CoD will not be bought in droves on that thing, complain all you want CoD is still the market juggernaut even at half force it still dominates it's closest rival in yearly sales.
@thekittenofwar: I've got a Switch, got it day one. Nice system and the Console/Handheld hybrid is going to bring in a lot of people who only play handhelds. This means Monster Hunter on the big screen, finally! Switch isn't going to do much to Sony's sales though, software is on Sony's side they've literally got mountains of things for nearly every persuasion to get into, this is the true power behind Sony's juggernaut sales.
Horizon Zero Dawn has been selling out on Amazon, which is incredible for a brand new IP, Nier, Nioh and others have been doing their thing. Look at that a bunch of different games, you'll definitely find something you want at Sony's shop. It's almost like they just let developers put what they want out there and see if the people like it.
@Jdzspace: No chance in hell that thing is launching at $600, $499 or less. It's a 6Tflop machine 1.2Tflops over PS Pro for $200 more is taking a piss and it will die at retail. Xbox One started off nice $100 more but that faded in less than a month as Sony took off and never looked back. Unless MS has an exclusive to help push Scorpio, consider that thing DOA. You have to get folks to buy into your ecosystem and you do that with exclusive software to get them looking and MS would probably do better if they launched in more territories than last time, they only sell good in U.S and decent in U.K everywhere else it's getting decimated. $600 it's not outselling anything, you can get a PC for less and nab a 1070 and still out perform the Scorpio with room to spare.
@sellingthings: You and OP are full of crap, can you name one person who has had their data fraudulently utilized stemming from PSN hack? Also credit card companies have anti fraudulent measures that are automatic and others you can place, but that is if they are reputable like Chase and other big banks who like to keep their customers money secure. Live has been hacked a lot idiot there are instances of individual hacking per user accounts, both services are attacked repeatedly you not from planet Earth are you?
To OP Phil is just saying what he needs to say, not sure about you but in business when an arm is being melded into another more successful arm, things aren't that rosy for the one being absorbed. Assuming it sticks around, with the way Phil is making gaming great by cancelling the most intriguing game Xbox ever had in the wings (Scalebound) and then pushing back a bunch of other games and saying loudly enough we're not leading with Halo Gears and Forza this time...proves that they realize that those titles aren't the money makers they used to be and MS don't know what the hell they are doing software side anymore. The strict atmosphere has been documented to even bother the likes of Platinum Games(guys who were working on Scalebound), who just released the stellar Nier:Automata a SquareEnix ip. So tell me how great Phil is supposedly doing? Scorpio, DOA with Xbox games being available on Windows 10 might as well get a nice cheap and powerful PC and any other console but an Xbox. I mean the writing is on the wall, what reason could there be to own an Xbox/Scorpio when all their games will be available on PC with better everything?
Yup Phil is making gaming great, talked about exclusives being bought isn't a good thing for industry and then outs the Xbox stream service saying the exact opposite, the nerve of that double talking guy is epic. I have all systems but I game where I please and Sony has been firing great stuff since the year started, what has MS done since they released that repetitive as hell Gears of War 4?
@chiefwiggum16: I highly doubt Zelda getting GoTY is a done deal. Horizon is no slouch as a complete package, it is getting praise for being more than just a simple game, but it's story and portrayal of characters that run the gamut of humanity. I think it will be a well contested battle, then we also have Shadow of War coming this year too.
