For my 2 cents...I like achievements. Yes the very easy ones r pointless but they have to be there for the casual players. The hard ones are the ones I like. I know I am l33t pimp master if I have 1,000,000,000 headshots! :)

Its a sad day in video games to hear that we have given in to editing our industry's art and are forfiting our freedom to sell art unless changed to the standards of people like Jack Tompson. If movies, music, and paintings can say or show anything they want to get their points across, then why not the games industry. I understand Rockstar and why they are doing this (they need to sell their game duh) but there must be ways that we as the consumers can fight this from happening in the future.

Remember you are playing a game for entertainment and the main perpose is to enjoy the experiance. Who cares if you can not beat it on the highest difficulty setting.

As a gamer and a parent, I think the current ESRB system is fine. It's much more in-depth than the MPAA system, and clearly states what is contained in a game.wmg1299

I have played WRPGs all my life and have never been able to get into JRPGs because of how linear they are. Granted the stories are amazing...the gameplay to me is not all there. But maybe like you, one day i will be able to respect both for what they offer. :).
