To all the commentators regarding Windows being the bread and butter of MS: stop living in the past.
Of the 3 primary divisions the one with Windows delivers the least of the 3 in Operating Profit. Within that division there is Windows, Xbox, Surface, and search advertising.
The reality is that Windows is now a small part of MS and it is cloud computing that is driving the real company growth, stock price, and profit.
@systemoverload: So you saying that if Epic and all game developers stop using Apple store it will just close? Not even close, will they make less money, sure. But there is a LOT of other uses for Apple store then games! I own 2 iPads and don't play games on either! And I have over 50 apps on both maybe more.
Which is exactly why you are on the wrong side of the debate. Apple doesn't need the 30% cut from 3rd parties to run their store. Smartphones have become standard devices and what exists is a duopoly of OS choices. It is inevitable that 3rd parties challenge the predatory policies of this duopoly.
As a consumer you should be on Epic's side regardless of what you think of the company or Sweeney. Apple is simply enriching its shareholders at the cost of consumers, while providing virtually no value. It is classic exercise of monopoly/duopoly power to the consumer detriment. The test of this is simple: imagine you paid to buy an app. And then imagine you had to pay a second significant charge to actually download it. That is what is happening to you except it isn't visible to you.
Well given the first one was pure garbage and basically a complete ripoff of Pocohantas and full of stereotypical characters, I am going to pass for sure.
@lion2447: If you want to play multiplayer, they want you to be able to delete the single player portion so you don't have to have the full game on your HDD taking up space. This is to lessen the impact of wanting you to do a full install in the first place for loading reasons. For lots of games many people would appreciate this especially if the sp campaign is of the one and done variety.
@SHOGUN_YAMATO: You forgot the part where the Soviets deliberately failed to reinforce the uprising and simply sat there and waited for the Germans to crush the Polish resistance thereby eliminating any threat to the future Soviet takeover. Then they went and mopped up the last of the Germans.
