This acquisition seems a bit odd. Outside of Destiny, what else do they gain with this? This just seems like something for Sony to be able to counter Microsoft with to say, "look, we can buy studios too!".
Are all these acquisitions the start down the path to the end of multiplatform games?
What about when Electro is first being introduced and attacking Spider-Man. Ge gets a glowing outline that resembles his comic book outfit with the star looking mask.
February 2022 is going to be a very busy month for gamers. With everything else set to drop in that timeframe, hopefully the D2 player base hasn't moved on by then.
I'm cautiously looking forward to this game. On the one hand it looks like it could be a lot of fun to play. On the other, I worry that after release and reviews, they will start to introduce MTX and other things they have told us we wouldn't see.
