Well I don't like the fact that the 360 isn't backwards compatable. Looks like only the Wii got that one right.
Well, if you plan on waiting to buy a PS3, then the PS3 will be on par with the x360 when it comes to BC.
Sony is removing PS2 chips in the PS3 and going with software emulation.
Yeah I know, and that sucks. Makes me think that maybe its a tactic to get people who were gonna wait, rush out a buy one now. Maybe Im just being cynical though.

Well I don't like the fact that the 360 isn't backwards compatable. Looks like only the Wii got that one right. I meant the way the 360 breaks down a lot. The quality is horrible. The PS3 is of much higher quality.
Ahh yeah that is a problem. My first 360 died (luckily I work for the store that sold it to me and I got a replacement). While I've had no experience with the PS3 the problems with the PS2 are enough to make me worry. Sony was horrid when it came to helping me. Which is insane. I waited in line overnight to get my PS2 (this was before it was fashionable). I bought around 50 games for the damn thing. Not only did they not care about my problems, the denied that other people were having problems with the PS2. Sony lost about 57 cool points with me on that one.
I consider myself a hardcore gamer. Last gen I owned Dreamcast, PS2, XBOX, and Gamecube. The gen before that I had a PS1 and N64. I have always bought almost every major system because I want to be able to play all the different games around (I love almost every genre). But this gen something changed. I had almost no interest in PS3. Combining my bad experiences with PS2 (I've had to buy 3 of em), the extremely high price of PS3, and the very comfortable position of being a Wii60 owner I had almost completely lost faith in the Playstation name. Well, GDC has changed that. Home and Little Big Planet look truly next gen to me, very few aspects the other systems have made me feel this way. While I still have some problems with the PS3 (high price and recent hardware news), I think Sony can count me in, for this round. Only problem is there isn't anything right now to grab me.
I guess I would see if they had anything interesting to say. If they are burning a flag they are either 1. some dumb punk who thinks he's awesome or 2. someone with a real reason to have issue with America. If he was the latter he might have something to say worth listening to. Chances are he'd be a punk kid though.
