My impression after playing is that it is the best Ghost Recon Game Ever - As I played GR2 back in the day I enjoyed the semi open landscape and the freedom to go prone and stealth and whatnot. Wildlands gives me that same feeling but amplified greatly with surprisingly fantastic graphics. I agree the vehicle controls are a bit weird at first, but then you learn how to fly / drive and the vehicles seemed fine...the helicopter even enjoyable. I did only play single player but I found the game clever and easy to use with a lot of ways to play on my terms. Ubi did a good job on this one imo, it'll be interesting to see what terrains and scenarios follow.

@heqteur: Yes, I'm just disappointed. These are current gen remasters of last gen titles, and they look largely the same. The graphics were great the first time round, so I was expecting the remasters to a be huge upgrade. A slight upgrade is what I'm seeing, and not on par with what I see in the other current gen Batman game - AK.

Arkham Knight is soo much better looking than these remasters - I love the Arkham series but I'm seeing a step backward in these screenshots. I suppose I shouldn't really be comparing these to Arkham Knight graphics...it's just that if I was to play the remasters...making that comparison is exactly what I would be doing. I'm looking forward to the next Batman game that can compete with AK...Easily the best in the series imo.

@Gelugon_baat:

I disagree with the 'dated' comment. I can think of no other console game where I can recruit 10+ fighters, place them on a corner, and watch them decimate a squad of Russians who just pulled up in an APC. The graphics are dated for sure..if it looked like the division..it would kick ass...imo

@Xristophoros: I'd rather it be the shelf for people like me....and people like you could choose not to play it.

@darthrevenx: But it is interesting gameplay. In all AC games, I'm blown away by the level of detail and the experience of traversing cities from hundreds of years ago. 'Havn't played Syndicate yet...

The city in in Mafia 2 was absolutely stunning...but ultimately played quite boring compared to more recent open worlds like GTA5, JC3 and Arkham Knight. It will be interesting to see how Mafia 3 overcomes that dated feel of being stuck on the ground. I'd like to see a polished climbing mechanic that lets you traverse rooftops /choose sniping positions - that worked for Saboteur.
