Strategygamer22 windows 7 comes with compatibility modes for every OS since Windows 95. Windows 7 pro/ultimate comes with an xp emulator. You can install stuff in XP on 7, though I would consider it crap. I have managed to install some old school 16 bit games with the xp emulator. But you cannot run any game in it and only use it to install stuff because u cannot install direct X or GPU drivers. Some games I've found just won't play because they just wont work on x64 OS, having 32bit windows 7 should work, but wats the point when 32bit limits the amount of RAM by 3GB I believe. Some new games coming out need x64 as opposed to x86 (32bit). Best to have windows xp 32bit/windows 7 64bit for best compatibility. Or install Ubuntu and use a program like WINE to emulate windows.
