He is my favorite composer of all time. Whenever I listen to music, it's usually one of the Final Fantasy soundtracks. I have Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and X's soundtracks, and I listen to them constantly..

I can't wait 'til october 31st, I already have the collectors edition on reserve at EB games. I'll be there at midnight to pick it up, and to celebrate ( the EB games I have my reserve at is having a party at midnightwhen they release the game.)

I do know that Final Fantasy XII takes place in the old world of Ivalice. This is the same world as Final Fantasy Tactics and a few earlier game ( I'm not sure which ones, I haven't played the earlier games.)

[QUOTE="Revan84"]It's pronounced Tea-dus (Tidus). The way it is spelled makes you think Tie-dus (relayed to the tide of water.) Tea-dus (Tidus) is Okanawin for sun, When coming up with the name Tidus(Tea-dus) for FFX, they had no realization of the western name Tidus(Tie-dus) and it's relation to water. You must realize that much of Final Fantasy X has an Okanawin and other asian islander theme to it. In fact Yuna's name mean moon in Okanawin, Tidus(sun) Yuna(moon). I hope this help clarify why his name is pronounce differently.You must also remember this is a Japanese game.Ratchet_clank42
Yea but the game in America says Tide-us. And if you really want to get into it, that might not be Tidus in KH

His name is Tidus(Tea-dus), i in japanese is pronounced E, so Ti would be pronounced Tee (or the word Tea.) It's a japanese game, not american.

I can not choose just one. "I MUST HAVE ALL FINAL FANTASY." I love final fantasy,so i can't just choose one. I may love turned-base, but I can't leave any final fantasy alone.

what's okanawin? is it another language other than japanese? and I always had thought that yuna was a japanese name!!

Okanawa is an Island in southern japan. When I say Okanawin, I mean the language that the islanders once spoke ( or still do, I not sure if it is a spoken languge or if it is dead.) I came apon this information when I was researching Tetsuya Nomura for a school project..
if you want to read the article about Tetsuya here is the site

I just want to say that the gunblade isn't a long range weapon. Squall pulled the trigger of his gunblade a lot in FF VIII which you got him to do by pressing R1 while he was slashing.ffsage

Yeah, Squall used the gun function of his gunblade to up the damage on his attacks. I was saying it might be possible to use it as a long range weapon, like Yazoo did in Advent Children. If a simpleton like Yazoo could do it, Squall could definitely do it.

I believe that if Cloud could defeat him then Squall definitely could and would. Especially if he had his lionheart. Plus it's a gunblade. He may have never use the gun part of his blade for long range in the game, but Yazoo in Advent Children  demonstrated the use of the gunblade as a long range weapon. Even if the long range attacks fail, squall could match sephiroth in swordplay, and with that it would be a tie.

[QUOTE="mikoyasha"]Chuck Norrismikoyasha

What's the problem? Whenever you're forced to decide on an otherwise equal match, a match that forces you to actually sit and think for a minute, you revert to using to Chuck Norris, now this is childish and uncalled for. Is there capacity for thinking in that simple mind of yours. If you can't stick to the subject, then don't post. And last time I checked this was the Final Fantasy Union, not the crappy ass Chuck Norris Union.

just so you're aware, i'm not a big fan of chuck norris. i only answered as such to prove the stupidity of the "Tifa Vs Zell" match . . . if they were meant to ever fight one another, they wouldn't be in separate games. sure, you may say, "but people do this sort of thing all the time", but that's my point exactly; we're never going to learn anything so long as we keep doing the same things over and over again. and you, sir, need to learn to take a joke. would you have felt better if i had put down Darth Vader?

Yes that would have been better, at least it wouldn't have been that overrated, good for nothing Chuck Norris. Yes, it's funny to use that as a joke every once in a while, but everyone over uses him.,
