Goldeneyemaster

I have seen that but that wont cool the power brick

Wow, Amazing, I just finished my first whole game without freezing.  Just played a game of Madden all the way through.  I bet it'll freeze as soon as I get back to gaming.    That fan for the power brick looks like a good idea, bet it'll sell like hotcakes.

[QUOTE="falstaff"][QUOTE="Goldeneyemaster"]Well I just started playing PDZ today and guess what... It froze!  This is getting VERY annoying.  It looks like my console isnt overheating anymore, since all games work now except PDZ.  Just called MS tech support and they are sending me a box to ship my 360 to them.  The lady said they will ship me a new system within 10 days of me sending it to them.  I am glad this worked for some people, but my system has more problems than just overheating.Goldeneyemaster

Hey I only have PDZ.. so other games are okay, should I try a different game?

PGR3 and CoD2 work perfect for me, just PDZ freezes.  The lady on tech support told me that a lot of people have been complaining about PDZ freezing.

PDZ freezes up the most, Madden and Need for Speed both freeze, but not as much.

[QUOTE="Stephen149"]so did this solution work for everyone? is there anyone whom it did not do anything? falstaff

Didn't work for me, ready my post above.

Got the same problem, I wonder if MS will release a patch to fix our problem? if not I'm gonna get my money back and forget the whole idea.

I really doubt a patch would fix what is wrong with my system.  I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the hardware.  I just hope MS sends me a new system, but I doubt that too.  But I'm in it for the long haul, not going to return mine, I know it will work, eventually.

It's good to see that many of your freezing problems have been solved or that you have found a temporary solution. I tried putting my psu on an open box as pictured and put my 360 on another box, so that it sits up off the table about 2 inches (laying flat of course). Neither of these two fixes have worked for my system.

I spent 4 hours on hold (not all together) on 4 seperate calls to MS. They are sending me a box so that I can send my 360 in for repair. In the mean time, does anyone have any suggestions of what else I can try?

I went over to a friend's place last night, he has a 360 too. It was nice to see how the machine should be running and at the same time it was disappointing because mine doesn't work.

I haven't even turned my 360 on today, probably will do so as I can play for about 20 minutes before it freezes, but the thrill of having a new system is gone for now.

Well, your freezing problem is probably not due to overheating. It sprobably a defect...I dont know anything you could do.

Thanks, guess I just have to wait for that box to come and then send the system in.  Very disappointing.
