I believe there is a realistic chance that some sovereign nations will remain under their own control for as long as is forseeably possible.

Perhaps one day the entire world will Federate under a single union but I think that day will be many many centuries away. Some nations large enough to not really be a single country but a collection of nations under one banner (AMERICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA for one) may split during extreme circumstances.

To the OP, I understand how you feel and don't let any of these morons saying you should just 'get over it' change your mind. Its hard for those who sat by and did nothing at school while others got picked on to understand what cowards and scum they really are, but then again you aren't meant to expect anything from their kind.

I, on the other hand WAS bullied, and stood up for others when they were bullied. Those who stood by and did NOTHING have no right to make ignorant comments. And don't think that just because you might have been picked on for a month or so that you experienced TRUE bullying.

I still feel bitter towards some of those who made my life just that little bit harder; every time I see them walking around the University campus like the smug little gits they are I laugh at their small and pathetic lives. But I agree with those in this thread who say you must never hit back, even if they are a girl.

Some times it just takes everything you can to bring out that supernatural level of mental grit to just grin and bear it. Especially with female bullies, because getting aggressive with them can just make things all the worse.But I understand the temptation. I can remember fantasizing about smashing their faces in, just letting loose and literally beating people to within an inch of their life; and how I remember I wanted to do it SO VERY BADLY, but I never did.

Use your experiences to your advantage and never do what they did to you to someone else; because its oh so easy to do it before you realise what you've done.

Not being racist or anything, but over here in NZ I feel the majority of Maori's in my school don't care about their education as much as Caucasians do. I think its because they arn't motivated enough to try and acheive their best and the different comunities we grow up in. Not saying that all whites are better either, in my science class they are probably even dumber.123625

I was a grammar boy, and damn EVERY Polly or Maori was in a low end class and performed badly except for a few noteable exceptions. The school treated everyone goddam perfectly equally, but they just didn't want to rise to the challenge. Its a pity really, as their parents must have had to fight hard to get them in zone with the ridiculous prices in Epsom and Remuera.

But I don't think New Zealand's situation is anything alike America's.Not anywhere near as much institutionalised racism, more of an extreme PC culture. Not to mention school funding is dependant on deciles, and high decile schools receive absolutely NOTHING. I had to pay a 'compulsory donation' every year, the school didn't function properly without it.

I bet they over-exagerated this. It's probably a virus that killed some male baby and everyone went crazy and some idiot figured it would be nice to say that it's all God fault.

Sadly there is no real evidence for pretty much ANY of the old testament stories. Of course, you ask a Christian science archaeologist you may get a real answer, but I think you'll find most of their 'theories' don't even make it to peer review, much less survive it.

But not at my university. Not the same type of culture as America, we don't really have the same level of people going into dorms and most people don't even know what a frat is anyway.
