No FPS for 3-4 years? What are you insane! But yeah I agree i'm sick of first person shooters, we need third person ones :D. But seriously thats just too much to ask for and when you said sure companies would lose alot of money your whole theory want down the drain because they dont care about us they care about money!

it's sad but true...............

Now, i know i dont speak for everyone, but hear me out.

Now, im sure we are all aware FPS game are growing stagnant very quickly, with all the game being copies of each other with Minor changes, and we as gamers have become rather Jaded toward them.

so maybe its time the Industry take a forced fast, and stop making FPS games...........

Her me out, if all devs. stop Making FPS games for say, 3-4 years, they could Refocus on the Under Valued Genres of Platformers, RPG's, Puzzle. Adventure games to widen the game pool. Then people would discover these Genres and truly grow as gamers, and not be trapped in a vicious cycle of nothing but Mainstream FPS and Sports games.

After the years have passes, New and Original ideas for FPS;s could be born that Reinvigorate the as of now Tired Genre.

Sure, this would cause Companies to Lose alot of Money, but in the long run it may be needed to prevent a second Game Crash.

Sometimes if your Tired, you need to get away for awhile to rethink what you have been dong so when you come back, your have fresh ideas.

The entire left side of my SIXAXIS no longer works, the face buttons, Right stick, R1, R2 and start still work, but the D-Pad, Left Stick, L1, L2, Select and the PS button don't work anymore.

Time to buy a DS3 (next friday when i get paid, so no gaming till then) or hav i just not hit my controller hard enough yet.
