I just want a new wrestling game with the career mode that can rival the classic PS1 WWF: Smackdown or Smackdown 2.
Is that too much to ask? I mean these legacy game modes are fun but if I wanted to see the storyline I'd buy the DVD, I want to play in a world I've influenced and created. Story modes aren't really needed in these kinds of games, just career modes.
Noone going to mention the original hacking game? Uplink by Introversion? Whilst it was super simplified it really followed the romantic mid 90's view on the topic.
Considering you aren't required to pay anything yet I'm surprised you are having problems. I set my CC up no problem and bots / gil sellers are simply blacklisted and are being culled in great numbers every couple of days.
Play it daily, love it. There is much to explore and a fantastic community of roleplayers and people around it.
Do NOT judge this game on release. There's PVP's to come, player housing, enhanced crafting, enhanced party events, more quests. With a major update planned every 2 months, there is so much to do and to look forward to.
If you are after something new, you won't be surprised by anything in FFXIV, but if you are after a competent playable MMO that does everything it does well, come join us in Eorzea. I'll be the lancer looking dashing in Gridania.
