@totneschap: It's Link's divine beast. No one else is rising a huge lizard around Hyrule except one of the other champions, so I think it fits just fine.

I was lookign forward to see how this turned out, until I just realized that it's another CW show. All signs point to uninteresting. The recent "crisis on earth x" cross over was really bad and had huge gaping plot holes my wife kept pointing out. DC just can't catch a break on TV or Movies.

I don't know if they can make this movie without making a block of cheese with it.

The TV show has a terrible habit of taking its source material and watering the characters down so far that they aren't even the same characters, or mixing it up too much that it's uninteresting. Should have stuck 1:1 with its source material for a much better adaption.

@gleencross: What's worse is they can't even reboot it immediately and will have to wait some time first, which puts them even further behind the Hero race with Marvel. They messed up by rushing it. Superman was ok. Jumping right into BvS with a new Batman that had no history on film was a mistake because no one cared for that version of Batman right off the bat.

While WW did ok, SS was just super campy and croc looked like ass. Like purely a rubber suit. Then JL comes in and they introduce 3 more major characters with no history on film with the DCU and again people have no connection to them. They could have done better if they had just taken their time to establish characters before trying to hit the grand storylines that have epic repercussions on things people don't yet care about.

Why did Joss jump ship from Marvel to DC anyways? Seems he joined a sinking ship.

You know, a lot of devs worked hard on that game, and EA execs are fully to blame for the hate because they were blinded by greed when designing the progression system. I am glad they 'feel sad' about the negative feedback, and they should take it as a sign about how their design choices are NOT ok. I don't feel bad for them on bit, but I do feel bad for the average wage employee who spent all that time animating, or coding the engine. They should take up their grievances with their bosses though, it's not the public's fault the game got negative feedback, that responsibility is fully on the execs at EA. I get that they want to monetize the game through different recurring streams of micro-transactions, but then it becomes a store or sales pitch, not a game.

@bat725: Guardians 2 was awesome, Spidey was pretty good too, but I haven't seen Thor 3 yet. I hardly think this is their worst year.
