I would DEFFINATLY buy it and play it. Any of the Halo sequels just havn't been able to capture what it was that made Halo CE great. I'd have to say Halo 3 comes close, but it just isn't the same. Just the other day I went ahead and played Halo CE 16 player with some friends (For good times sake), and it was like re-discovering Halo. It was like the first time I played it, it had been so long... I was like " F U { K , this game is AWSOME"... I couldn't believe how refreshing it was to play it again. If Halo CE had XBL capability, I wouldn't ONLY play it, I would go back to Halo 3 every once in a while as well, but I would CERTAINLY play it.........
Due to the nature of the aspect ratio of that monitor (and just about all PC monitors are 16:10 as opposed to the 16:9 ratio of TVs), you should use 1280x768. That is the closest to a 16:10 resolution that the Xbox will output to.
