Jade Empire was an alright game, KoToR blew it out of the water in my opinion. Granted, as many KoToR fans here I did not like the ending to II but what can you do. We can only hope they don't put too much work into the Mass Effect series and put work back on KoToR. You would think they would be developing because of the obvious fanbase. Who knows?
Alright, it's like this. Quake IV is a decent game at best. It was fun at times but at others it was like meh. Everything they promised didn't get into the game such as "squad play". Swat 4 has all of that. I found SWAT 4 much more enjoyable because it isn't a "gerber" game. You can't go running and gunning otherwise you are dead and the whole using your squad is also a great feature.
Haven't played the EP for Swat but it's probably pretty good. Go Swat everyone here says so.
Half Life no question. HL1 changed the genre in ways we can't imagine. Besides there are so many mods/multiplayer/singleplayer experiences for Half Life. Halo is for console players solely. Granted, Halo MP was fun for a while but HL offers a lot more imo.
Basically you guys on Xbox are getting a **** deal here. HL2 is one of the best computer games made. And now you get everything. I have a 360 but I'll stick to the computer :)
I would love to see Crysis suck so bad. I think it would be amazing, so many fanboys crushed. However, I doubt it will happen since Crytek did a fantastic job with the PC Far Cry and the First Xbox Far Cry.
Buy hey, STALKER was supposed to be "Amazing!" However, it is a decent game.
Everyone here believes that "Mature" games have no major impact on gamers, that concern violence or crime. However, they do have some things that bring our generation down. Lazyness is the major one I believe along with growing obesity.
People aren't made crazy by games. Only by birth or severly traumatizing experiences. Just don't give little kids these games. Problem solved.
Maybe the US Government should look at these threads and pull their heads out of their asses
I'm 17. I buy any video game I want. It is my choice if I want to play it.
The only complaint I have is 14 and under playing these games. Single Player I could give less of a **** But in MP I don't want immature bastards. If you are under like 14, show some maturity. All I ask.
If parents allow young kids to buy these games...that is their bad parenting. And I don't care, all I know is that I would keep my young ones away from them. Until they are older and responsible.
Man, both those games suck. Basically seems just like Slugfest. And God, that game .....was ridiculous. Just go get another game, maybe THE OUTFIT too.:lol:
