Sony announced recently that by years end they will have a $299 Blu-Ray player. Given that fact, there is no reason to the PS3 shouldn't follow suit. The system was touted as being a cheap alternative to a stand alone BR player and that argument should carry over through price drop.

1. Resident Evil(original PS1 long box)- When I originally purchased this game, all my friends would come over to watch me play it. It was the first time a game had the same effect as a grade A horror film. 2.Psychonauts(XBOX)- A game that should be ownwed by every true gamer in the universe. Sadly it isn't and the chances for a sequel are slim. 3. Final Fantasy VII(PS1)- I could go into a long diatribe why this game is so cool, but like Elvis, it speaks for itself. 4. Katamari Damacy(PS2)- The gameplay, the design, the soundtrack all culminate into one cool game. 3. Srider(Genesis)- The coolest character in a video game will always be Hiryu from Strider.
