@jbshook Since I still have faith in humanity, I will assume that those in this chain comment who defend pedophilia as natural are intentionally trolling.

@crabbyprime Actually, although jrpg characters tend to look gender neutral, they don't tend to be sexually ambiguous (male characters, at least). Culturally, Japan is still not as opened about homosexuality as the US, so the character design has nothing to do with their sexuality.

P.S. apologies if I ruined the humor intended

I would like to say though: It is a bit unsettling to see just how many video games are M-rated. On Xbox 360 and PS3 especially, it seems, M-rated games are probably close to exceeding other games in terms of volume. When was the last time you played a game without excessive violence? (Journey was my last, and that's a years and more than ten titles ago)

Of course, I am not saying violent games are not fun, or that everything should be kitty and sunshine, but I would like to point out that of all the means by which we can be entertained, the over-encompassing violent content is a bit disturbing. I'm sure there are other ways for games to be fun. The fact that there're so much violence would mean either the dev's are getting lazy, or that we as gamers do have a fetish for blood and gore. I personally hope it's the first reason.

We should make a video game museum where at least one copy of every game is kept for future generations. They will be displayed, played, referenced, and periodically cleaned and restored like any artworks of worth out there.

Yeah, I know, never gonna happen, but I thought I might as well pitch the idea to whoever wants to buy this collection.

Please do this for all of us.

I agree with those demanding further explanation, but I think those who are aiming at the "lack or choice", "depressing", or other "problems" of the ending is going at the wrong direction. Simply: Bioware probably owes an explanation regarding plot holes and other mechanical errors in the writing. But they should NEVER, EVER, EVER change the ending itself. Why? Because they were the ones who wrote this thing from start to finish, and with their effort, reserve the right to end it in any way they see fit. It's not about money or product or cheating the customer, it's about the creative minds's right to see their own work as the way they wanted it, even if what they want pisses off the fans, that is still theirs, not anyone else's. If anyone think they can come up with, or worse, entitled to something that fits their vision, I honestly cannot agree with them. That's my humble opinion

While I don't have much to contribute, I would simply like to show my respect to your courage in writing this particular article: Thanks, Carolyn, you're braver than most of us will ever be in our entire life.
