Recently I've noticed that when playing a game after about half an hour the framerate drops and everything looks slightly jumpy and less smooth than normal. I've found it with PS3 titles (like GTA IV and Skate.) and PS2 titles (like Futurama). I've tested other games as well and it happens with all of them, could there be a fault with my console? It's about 15 months old, maybe opening it and blowing the dust out would help? It's not a huge problem but it is noticable enough to be annoying.
My PS3 controller has worn out (the shoulder buttons get stuck in all the time and the sticks are very squeaky) and I need a new one. I need some advice on which of these three options would be the best buy:
A SIXAXIS controller for £22 A Dualshock 3 controller for £34 or 2 SIXAXIS controllers for £35
What would you do if it was your money? Are Dualshock 3's worth the extra cash?
I'm sorry to bring this question here but I haven't been able to find any help with it anywhere else.
I live in the UK and have a Maestro debit card. I tried to use it to add funds to my wallet in the PS3 store, but it keeps asking me for an issue no, which my card doesn't have.
I've tried leaving it blank and I've tried putting in 1 (this is my first card), but it keeps telling me my card details are not valid.
