Legacy of Kain series (Blood Omens and Soul Reavers). Best story ever! I seriously wish they would just make a novel out of it, because I hated the actual gameplay lol.

Alex Mercer is seriously overpowered (which is part of why that game wasn't fun)frostybanana
I dunno about that. It changes throughout the game imo. At the start the army are quite strong, then you get powers and they become easy prey. Then they get loads of tanks and choppers after you all the time so it can be easy, but you can also get your arse handed to you if careless. Then the Hunters come along and again you aren't really all that Overpowered. More powers later and you can kill them easy, but then you have loads of hunters and the boss ones, etc, etc. I thought it was refreshing really, and complimented the tug-a-war between the army, the infected and Mercer himself. :)

Yay! I love both games so I'm happy they'll be a sequel for each. I thought Prototype was much more fun, just a bit unpolished. I hope they keep all the powers already in the first game and just add more though, found the variety of powers rather lacking. It was mostly upgrades to stuff that you unlock, which was fine and all for travelling and surviving but... I want more ways to slaughter people. :D

I'd love a new Jak game in the same vein as 2 and 3. Never got the racing one nor PSP one(s?). I want to see where the story goes now that Jak, and those closest to him, know who he is. :)

Eh, different type of game really. I love Dragon Age and have bought all the DLC and the addon but I loved Demon's Souls too. If I'm in a story mood DA obviously wins then. If I'm bored and just want to kill things or if I'm more interested in gameplay rather than story, the DS wins. ^^

Mine have changed alot. I used to absolutely love RTS games like Age of Empires, Stronghold and whatnot. Gradually got bored of them though and now never play them. Moved into JRPGs then with the Final Fantasy series, got bored of that some years later and am loving the western, free-roaming RPGs. I'm still at that point, but my tastes have broaded out a fair bit too. One mainstay from the get-go though were stealth games, loved them, love them and will probably continue loving them. ^^

So yeah, my tastes have changed in alot of ways but stayed the same in some other ways.

When I first began playing it I loved it. Its quite fast paced and levels are quite small, so everyone is on the move around the map and the like. The one-hit-stealth-kills are really fun and satisfying to pull off, but in my opinion it gets boring really quickly. I myself feel absolutely no pull to go back to UC2. I played online a bit some weeks ago because I was bored, and I got fed up within twenty minutes and changed to another game.

Thats the competitive matches anyway, I can't speak for the co-operative stuff as I never tried them. I will say though the game is well worth getting solely for the single player with the multiplayer, for me, being a nice bonus for however long it entertains you. :)

I used to really enjoy them, grew increasingly weary of the combat systems in them though. Then with FFX I lost all interest entirely in that series. Theres too many characters that feel the need to explain long winded reasons for what they think, why they feel x and y. I haven't played FF13, I watched that long trailer for it though, and that alone was saying they have those long explanations. Don't get me wrong though, I love loads of dialogue and character developement, JRPGs though in my opinion try to teach younger people right and wrong, though perhaps thats just how I see it. Either way, it puts me off playing them.

I prefer western ones nowadays, as I much rather free-roam games than linear paths and random monster fights (oh how I hate them).

I'm finishing off all the bounty hunting missions, done everything else. So just that and a few of trophies to collect, then I'll probably start another playthrough playing as a bad guy this time, rob banks and whatnot. And its fun to mess about in free roam with friends, hunting other players. Competitive matches though are quite boring, everyone just camps. :|
