@wexorian Dude, Ocean Quigley has been with Maxis since Sim City 3000. The corporate guys at EA are the ones that ruined the franchise, not the art director.

Imagine how well it would have sold if we could actually find it in stores! I was really excited to play it but after my first 3 or 4 unsuccessful trips to the store I decided to move on and spend my money on something else.

@chipwithdip Square Enix is a big company. The team pumping out all these 13 games is not the same team working on Versus. They aren't taking people away from working on Versus, they are just giving something for the rest of their employees to do. And before anyone says anything, no - throwing all your extra employees into the Versus team would not necessarily get it finished any faster. It just doesn't work that way. But don't get me wrong. I'd much rather have the 13 team working on a VI or VII remake. Or better yet a new Chrono game. But until people stop buying FF13 sequels, I don't think that's going to happen.
