Play ps2 games a lot more then ps3 games, i do have a lot of them to finish though considering i got my ps2 much later after it came out.

good point on all the game franchises you mentioned, but eventually they will have to move to ps3, at least i hope they move to it rather then another console, while i dont believe ps3 will ever match up to the ps2 for me, once i see those franchises move up (persona 5, suikoden 6 mostly and any other NIS/SMT games) it might start shining too

I went blind for games on the ps1 and got a lot of good classics from doing so, i did it a bit for the ps2 and it worked out, i did it once or twice for the ps3, but probably wont do it again, too many bad games in the genre i like to play

As far as the console is concerned the ps3 is better, which is only normal, but for me the game library from ps2 is much better, i also find myself playing my ps2 a lot more then the ps3, but its mostly for really good late releases on ps2 example persona 4, so perhaps the same will happen with the ps3

Xenogears has the best story of any game ive ever played and the gameplay is great too, id say its about time you play it if you have it. Also dont mistake xenogears with xenosaga

gta4 for me, played about 10 minutes before taking it out and never touching it again, at least i was lucky enough not to have bought it

Suikoden 5 was good and hopefully it will keep up, i would like to see a new suikoden for ps3

Megaman 3 was the first game i played a lot and made me a gamer, ff7 got me into rpgs and made me a hardcore gamer

Disgaea was pretty good, as long as you dont mind a comedy game more then serious. Valkyrie Chronicles was great, ff13 was decent, resonance was also pretty good, otherwise id go for ps2-ps1 jrpgs
