Definitely Aion. Played in the Chinese version for 2 months, and spent 1 month in the Korean retail as well. Already pre-ordered my CE ^^

Yep, we're still around 500,000 strong. Actually, we're getting a huge content update in April, with a new mini-expansion, new augmentation system, new missions and quests and other unannounced goodies. If you have some time to devote to the game, it's the best MMO there is IMO. Give the free trial a shot

Definitely Aion, i've been playing in the Korean version of the game for a couple of weeks now. Not only does it look amazing, the gameplay is much better than a standard Asian MMO. It looks Asian, but plays like a Western game.

To prove my point about the graphics, here's a pic of my character

I'd say go with the PSP. Crisis core, Dissidia, Star Ocean: The Second Departure, all are amazing titles. But i'm an RPG fanatic so you might hate those games

Final Fantasy XII deserved that score. I can't think of one negative thing about it, aside from the protaganist being a little strange. Most people that claim to hate the game only say so because it took the Final Fantasy series in a different direction. Keep in mind that Famitsu is a Japanese company as well; they have different taste in games than we do.

It's single-handedly the best MMO i've ever played. Providing you have some time to put into it, you'll have much more fun than you ever will in WoW. - The community is nearly flawless. There's virtually no jackasses, and everyone respects each other. It may sound unrealistic, and I didn't believe it myself till I started playing. If you get a group in WoW, you'll almost always end up with rage-quitters, children, spammers, or disrespectful punks. There might be 1 person out of every 10 parties you get in FFXI that will be immature. - The necessity of grouping in the game is a good thing in my eyes. In solo games, people tend to level all the way to the cap without any form of party play, and as a result they have no idea how to use their class properly at end-game, not do they know how to function with other players. Right from the get-go in FFXI you learn what your role is in a party, how to use your class effectively, and how to strategize/function as a team. By end-game, everybody knows their class inside and out. - Lol at the guy who said you'd spend 3 months in Valkurm. I played the game about 6 months ago, and I was able to level up from 14-20 in valkurm in about 2 days. I wasn't even a healer or tank either =/. One thing you should know before playing is that the game takes a long time to learn. There isn't really a tutorial and the game plays much different than most MMOs. I was confused as hell for my first week, but eventually you start to get the swing of things. Forgive me if I sound like an advertisement, I'm just tired of people calling this game crap because they're too used to being spoonfed everything from Blizzard. FFXI is certainly a challenge and require dedication and determination. The end result is extremely rewarding though, and you'll end up making some really good friends. Hope you reconsider your decision to avoid the game.

I agree, it is the worst by far. I have all 3 consoles and only 2 games for each, none of which I still play
