The MGS series has always been too "weird" to appeal to the mainstream market. While some of the oddity of previous games is retained in MGS4 (and its sense of humor has survived the jump), the urban setting and the addition of war zones (areas where stealh is ignored) should shift the series into mainstream territory (assuming Kojima continues the series).

dude i was joking btw thats a killer rig mate Don't neglect the floppy. I've been stuck in several predicaments involving the BIOS (or lack thereof) and the system failing to boot. A nice 3.5' drive wouldn't do you any harm.
