@kairobo I think one of Kevin's issues is that the game is tactless when it comes to the themes it presents.

@t1000_v2 @alien33 @UnaSolida Maybe that's true, and maybe it's not. Check out the top selling games for October 2014. Many of them are in the 70s on Metacritic, which is actually lower than what Far Cry 4 currently has. I don't think scores have a huge impact on sales if the game is marketed well. And let's be honest -- Kevin makes valid points as to why this game should be a 7 (which is still a good score).

I myself loved Far Cry 3, but I was already going to pass on Far Cry 4 because I'm getting tired of the Ubisoft formula (i.e, using the same kind of sandbox structure for their franchises like Watchdogs, Assassin's Creed, and, yes, Far Cry).

@UnaSolida If you know you'll love it, why do you care about the score a video-game website gives it?

@WeekendSupervis Kevin didn't get anything wrong. The point of reviewing a game isn't to guess what other reviewers will score it.
