Thanks for the recommendations - I will look into them. Heroes looks interesting and so does Secret World/Wildstar

Meanwhile I also downloaded Rift and Tera online - also getting Aion.

Heya,

First of all - sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.. Please move the topic if I posted this in the wrong forum!

So I'm an older female gamer and I'm hoping to get some MMORPG recommendations that are worth my time.

Currently I am playing League of Legends - and I am sick and tired of that game!!! To sum up the game - 3 maps - 1 map used 90% of the time. Start at lv 1 each time, 5 v 5, farm, kill each other, win by destroying the nexus - rinse and repeat. People cuss each other out all the time. Rinse and repeat. Free game but can use money to purchase upgrades/skins/etc

Past MMORPG: Perfect World, Rappelz, Ragnarok etc etc (can't remember all names)

I miss the old time MMORPG where it's fun to play, grind, be a part of a guild and do quests/dungeons. Problem is... it's been over 10 years since my last real MMORPG and doing a quick search I'm overwhelmed because there are soooo many out there!!!

I'm looking for:

- Free MMORPG - or something not to expensive (because I play for fun)

- Big open world

- Classes/Job system

- Prefer no level caps - unless they are decently high

- Quests

- Guilds/Clans - guild quests, dungeons, war would be fun

- PVP is okay

- Decent graphics (not to crazy don't want to lag) - My laptop (older laptop... will eventually buy a new one): Windows 7 Premium, Intel Core i7, 1.73 Ghz, 64 bit system, 6 GB Ram, nVidia GeForce GTX 285M 1,024MB PCI-Express GDDR3 DX10

-Game with little lag/downtime

-Game with regular (or once in a while) updates and active GMs/Game Events - may be asking too much with this one

-FUN!

Any advice?

Thanks!!!

Personally my most fav FF go in the following order

1- FFX

2- FFIX

3- FFVII - WAY OVERRATED!

4- FFVIII

5- FFXII

AT THE BOTTOM: FFX-2

Those are all the FF I've played... so I haven't played the earlier ones... even though I own Anthologies, Chronicles and Origins - dun have much time lately!

Personally FFIX has the most charming characters, the coolest settings (castles and all that stuff), awesome "side-characters" like Beatrix and the best FF music in my opinion! I love this game and it's sooo nostalic!

Heya,

I was wondering if I could get a comparison of both games... I own Black and I LOVE IT! My bro's birthday is like this Wednesday and I'm still debating what to get him. I know Twisted Metal Head-On is only $19.95 which is a great price! However, how does it compare to black? I doubt it's as dark and I dun think the stories are as shocking.... am I wrong here? Are they still enjoyable and how's the gameplay/music?

On gamespot it looks like Head-On scored 2 grade letters lower than Black and this worries me. Any feedback would be appreciated.
