@Mugzippit No, it means 115 people polled are working on games, it does NOT mean there will be 115 different games. Most probably a lot of them are working on the same title.
Nooo! I really want to play this game because it Naughty Dog quality and it looked adventure-y, but now it looks scary... and I totally don't have the spine to play through dark corridors filled with not-really-zombies...
@FollowY0urBliss @Myst17 I don't know, maybe it wasn't until now the trial came through, sometimes this things take time to go through the bureaucratic mess. Or maybe he has now more evidence... or...
Agreed, Carolyn. I'm seeing in the comments a lot about "male/female" protagonist options. I think most people don't care about that, and I don't think this article's focus is on that. It's not about having more female leads, but having more female characters (as opposed to cartoonish girls), having more diversity in games, just like in life.
One comment said that it was like asking for books to have the option of choosing a male or female narrator. That's ridiculous of course, but I wouldn't enjoy a book filled with only male characters and a few one-liner "kidnapped princesses" or "strippers". I think games should have diverse an deep characters (or equally shallow ones at the very least).
