[QUOTE="Myriokephalon"]Had the same stuck on the loading bar issue. Clearing the cache didn't work for me, neither did reinstalling the plash player. Here's the thing: the videos don't work for ANY browser on my desktop. And not just gamespot; espn.com videos, for instance, won't load either. But- I have a laptop, same wireless network, same browsers, same version of flash, and it plays them no problem. Both computers are on Windows XP, and have ATI video cards. Any ideas what the hell is going on with my desktop please?gmax
This is a bit of a guess, but since you are having trouble with other sites, I suspect it is a Flash security setting. The last time I checked (which was a while back), the GS video player required all Flash security settings to be wide open. Blocking Flash LSOs was a problem, and so was not "allowing third party Flash content to store data on your computer". I thought reinstalling Flash would reset the security settings, but I have never really checked - maybe it doesn't. If you don't have a complicated Flash security configuration that you need to keep intact, you could try finding your settings.sol files and wiping them all out - but I don't necessarily recommend that approach. There might be a more elegant way to reset your Flash security settings, but pursuing that might be contingent on how much time you want to spend on it.

Yeah, I was guessing it was a problem with the flash player. I start disabiling things one by one and see if it starts working again. Thanks a lot for the advice.
