"Imagine we lived in a world where artists regularly changed their art based on audience demands." Ahem, actually we do live in such a world. Just ask any commerical artist who creates art for a living.
On the contrary, I think Developers love the complainers and whiners. I mean why not...since they are probably the same people who will dish out more money for a dlc promising an "upgraded" alternate ending. So I say quit complaining, get on with our lives, stop buying their games and not be taken as fools!
Bioware has this all planned people! So now we will reward their treachery by purchasing a dlc for an alternative ending just so that we can sleep better at night thinking that we had saved the galaxy? WAKE UP!!
Personally I agree that developers should not do anything to change their original vision, but then again, Bioware's recent works is giving me doubts that they care much about originality in the first place.
Unfortunately "Art" is always reined in by commercialism and the demands of people paying for it. How do we know that Leonardo DaVinci didn't also alter his paintings according to the wishes of his clients?
Washington is a good guess, but I wanna make another guess anyway - Boston. The green actually represents you being a member of the Irish gang and you will be doing some undercover work for them inside the police force, just like in the movie The Departed/Infernal Affairs. Not exactly an original take, but what is?
