[QUOTE="MrGiggle"]

Well today my xbox got an E74 error and I'm within the 3 year warranty period thankfully because I have no intention of paying money for Microsoft's hardware mistakes.

Anyway generally under these circumstances am I going to get a repaired console or a new one?

Because If they just repair it and it works for a while then it breaks again, I think I may just trade it in once it's repaired, or will I get a new console that's perhaps undergone checks to insure these errors won't happen?

MrGiggle, If you don't mind, Out of curiosity, When did you get your 360...Month and year, and was it brand new when you bought it. Oh, and which Harddrive did it come with? Thanks.

I got it about a year and a half ago, around August, It was a brand new Elite with 120GB HD

So after I get it back can I be fairly certain It's not going to break down again?

Can someone please tell what games are free to play online as part of the "Friendship is Free" promotion?
