@allyal1: Same here. I always loved local competitive multiplayer, but BHD turned gaming into an addiction for me. I absolutely loved it. I played it up until a friend introduced me to America's Army. I still have my copy of BHD. I got on a few years back and was surprised to see that people were still playing it.
@CagedOkami: The season pass for Titanfall was $25. Maybe if you can't live with people saving $25 more than you, you shouldn't be an early adopter. And DLC/season passes go on sale all of the time. I bought the Titanfall season pass for $9 just a couple of months before they made it free (which was exactly a year after the game launched).
The longevity for Titanfall was extended because they made the season pass for free. When I bought the season pass, finding matches with DLC took a lot of time. As soon as the SP went free, matchmaking times plummeted because the player base was no longer segregated.
