All these therapies do is make the individual hate who he/she is and this might probably lead to a greater depression than the one caused by the relatives who forced him/her into the clinic. Nuff' said. :o

I've always wondered this? Just google for "antigay organizations" and you will see that many have the word "Family" on their names. Focus on the Family, Family Research Institute, Family Research Council,American Family Association etc etc. If Im not mistaken weren't the people who said the world was going to end some months ago called Family Radio or something like that? :?

I just can't seem to understand how can it be acceptable to encourage hate and descrimination as something that should be promoted in between families. Really, if you can't take 10 minutes of your life to explain to a child how people are different and they also deserve respect and instead of doing that you prefer to teach hate, you are a terrible parent. I really don't know why parents should follow the teachings of these associations. This is a big reason on why the suicide rate between gay teens is so high, parents instead of being encouraged to teach children about equality and stuff like that, they are encouraged to deal with such topics with hate.

Those are my two cents, what can you say about the topic?
