I love lara croft just how she is. I want her to remain strong and sexy. Though the lack of curves :) and excessive QT events in the new game is quite worrying. I didn't play mirror's edge because playing a 1st person game with a female character just felt weird.
Did anyone like the gameplay (combat, camera angle, control... anything) of Game of Thrones? I hated everything about this game, except the story, which I can not judge as I stopped playing early. Buying this game is my worst mistake of 2012.
I am very careful with what I buy. I only play on pc and avoid buying games with less than 20 hours of single player gameplay. So my market is very limited. If a game has delayed release on pc, I have no problem waiting a few more months to buy it cheap (sale/used), 'cause all the attraction is gone and there are newer games to look forward to. I bought GTA IV extremely cheap almost a year after it was released on pc.
I like real time combat, like witcher 2s'. Much easier to beat high level enemies. In turn based combat, if the enemy is of a higher level and you pick a fight with him, he can smoke you in one blow.
I didnt encounter many bugs in the pc, except for the occational dragon skeleton in front of my house (easily fixed with console). And the gameplay was pretty smooth in high detail. The only annoying thing to me was how you'd have to get off your horse every time to kill a wolf, or how your horse would kick that dragon to death before you get to deliver the final blow, or... come to think of it, there were quite a few annoying things, but the game was fun.
You dont need to buy any extra hardware to go to the cinema and watch a movie. And would anyone want to see a 50 hour movie? And there are no Tom Cruse or Brad Pitt in the games to suck up millions. Comparing movies with video games would not be right.
If we leave out the RPGs, 24 hrs is very good, 18 is good, 12 is ok, 6 hrs or less means I've been cheated and they didn't earn my money. But 24 hours of bad gameplay is worse than 6 hours of bad gameplay.
