@jack777: I get the impression Sony has realized their traditional narrative driven single player games are getting too expensive to be as profitable as a big AAA game needs to be for a big publisher (especially as exclusives). So, I wouldn't be surprised if they're unwilling to just greenlight more sequels and a lot of their first party developers are having to come up with either new games or new ideas for existing franchises.
@Specterkingdark: I don't think they're trying to enforce no password sharing, just saying they can't do it for you even if you request it yourself or via a will.
I know the remakes could be totally different and better than their originals, and I shouldn't judge them based on my experiences with those games, but these are probably the two RE games I’m least excited about seeing come back.
@s1taz4a3l: Man, I loved the balance of generating ammo/health/armor in Doom Eternal. When you “got gud”, you could keep yourself in all three against any encounter and it was immensely satisfying. Easy to skrew up and get in trouble, since the combat moved so fast, but boy, when you got in the zone … *chef’s kiss*. I still think it’s the best modern FPS yet.
