The 256-bit memory bus and the X1950PRO is fully capable of using 512MB or VRAM. It's the low-end cards with a 128-bit bus that find no use for it. I'd still probably go with the Sapphire X1950PRO 256MB, though.kodex1717

Unless you're going for the XT, this is the card to get. I got it and I'm sooo happy with it.

Learn to upgrade it yourself. I'd never done anything like this, but in the last month I've installed a new PSU, video card, and RAM. It's VERY easy, even the PSU.

[QUOTE="MoMurdaBTNH"]Yup. I had the same prob. I didn't know what to do. It was probably a good thing I couldn't find it b/c I woulda installed it on my 350W PSU hehe. Ordered a 500W a few days later.LouieV13
The X1950PRO is fine on a 350w...

AGP? I heard of people blwowing their PSUs, decided to play safe than sorry. PSU was pretty cheap, an XClio, and when I build my new CPU this winter I can use it still most likely.

And you'll max them with a very high framerate. The Source engine is VERY good on any PC.

Anyone think it'll happen, do you think it would be fun?

They did it for GTA games, and they were pretty fun IMO.
