This show combines two of the most interesting topics: science and gaming. That automatically makes it great(in addition to your face of course :P)! (this episode was one of the best)

Hope we'll see season 3!

@Ravenlock_2112 Now this is right. I have the exact same thoughts as you. I am not a father, but it isn't really hard to see it, except if you actually don't want to see it.

@botswanky Video games help soldiers to accept the idea of killing people? Dude, no... Video games have nothing, and I mean nothing at all, to do with real life. I am like you. I've been playing games for as long as I remember(and violent ones). Does that mean that me and you are more "comfortable" with the idea of violence in real life? This is far from the truth. Although you have a point, it can't be considered a fact. I literally hate violence. How do you explain that, after years of playing violent videogames? According to you, I should have been ready by now to kill a person without even caring.

@Manhasted I partially agree with you. Sometimes, the people's opinion isn't reliable enough. Great games are underrated just because they don't satisfy the average modern gamer's tastes. Why haven't we heard a word about Deus Ex(for example) which is an epic game and we constantly hear about COD and BF? Because it forces the player to play with a different style than that most gamers are used to. Why the ps3 exclusive Little Big Planet, one of the most innovative games I've played, has a score 95 at Metacritic and a User's score 6.6? Of course, there are overrated games too. My point is that being relied on the opinion of the..."mass" isn't always the best thing. And this applies to everything not just gaming. Just my opinion though.

(continue)At least if he wants to call himself a hardcore gamer. Hope that helps to understand these terms ;) *Btw, the guy above(x-zamani-Xx) said he likes MW3. What's your problem? You see anything wrong at that? Then, why do you thumb down? I really don't get it... Can't somebody express his personal tastes and likes without being "targeted"?

@rain_ishigawa You mentioned the term "Hardcore gamer". Let me copy-paste the definition that pegi.info gives: "A gaming enthusiast who reads the games magazines and websites; follows latest news on the development of key titles, may own several of the latest consoles and handheld devices along with key titles for these platforms." Now about the casual gamer, here is what it says: "A person who plays games but doesn't have a deep interest in the technology or culture of gaming, is probably not a regular reader of games magazines or web sites, and may buy games based on what is currently popular." It's completely define and clear. So here is the explanation you were seeking. I agree with you btw(partially at least). Personally I think people who play only FPS games, I repeat, only FPS games, are the casual gamers we are talking about. No matter how much time they play, they will always be casual gamers. Pure example are the COD fanboys. (Caution, I don't mean those are fans of cod or play it, I've played all CODs as well.) I've met people that the only games they have are CODs, you always see them play a COD, until the next one comes out, and they have 0 or 1 trophy(which means they didn't even touch the SP). And believe me there are a lots of them. Now these are a typical example of casual gamers. Instead, a hardcore gamer plays many different games, from various genres and categories and he is open to new ideas or games. None hardcore gamer plays only one genre of games.

What is the time zone of that the schedule is set, in order to know when it will be at my local time?

Let's say, for example, that I want to see the revelations of the new games. Trailers, people talking about them. How do I know the date when they are going to be presented? Generally, I don't get the schedule... It says Gamespot's Live Stage Show, LiveCam Tour, Conference... What are these supposed to mean? Every company will present their games at their conference or what?

The years have passed. Unlike the old days where the only thing you were caring about was the fun, now storytelling is one of the most important things at the modern games... However, some games focus on gameplay(CoD), while others on the story(Heavy Rain)... I enjoy both, but the ultimate game for me is the one that succeeds on incorporating both of them(Uncharted for example). Again, some of them rely on story, while others on fun. That's why I agree with the article at the last few paragraphs... Btw, before some years, I NEVER watched any cutscenes unless they couldn't be skipped. Now, I NEVER skip a cutscene... Because a good game, is a good movie that you can take part in it yourself as well! This is what I love in games and what makes them have that "something" that movies don't:)
