bump, it now makes the ding sound when plugged in and says USB mass storage under usb drivers but it like disconnects right away and keeps reading it and disconnecting over n over. The ipod itself has a folder pic with an ! pop up on it.Masta--Killa^^^^^same thing reads it but disconnects and reconnects rly fast over and over, ipo ditself usually has a picture of a folder with a "!" on it after it disconnects. I successfully reformatted/updated it from my old problem it just magically let me after giving me trouble.

[QUOTE="Koalakommander"][QUOTE="BlueBarad"][QUOTE="DeadMan1290"]PS3 will make a comeback. Why can't people get that?:|Trading_Zoner
Why?
A.) PS3 is getting the most popular franchises in the world. Sure the 360 got GTA, but after Halo and GeOW (same audience by the way), what's next? Sure it's getting good games, but games that sell? I don't think so.
B.) Built in Blu-Ray player. Cheapest Blu-Ray on the market, might as well get a PS3 to watch your movies in HD.
C.) PS3 will have the dominant library in 2008, whether those games AA or AAA will not affect the sales.
D.) It is already at 4.5 million with a $600 price tag and IMO the worst game library I've ever seen for a console 10 months in. This kind of shows that people want that Blu-Ray player. Now imagine when the games start rolling in.
Of course, the PS3 won't catch up to the Wii =p.
Again, I completely agree.

Hey i have an old 20g ipod the one with no color or anything i had it since it came out and honestly i didnt put anything on it for a good year so next time i plugged it in it told me to restore it or i couldnt do anything with it. Therefore i backed my songs up and restored it.
So the problem comes in now after restoring it i also reinstalled itune and updated the ipod n everything but it absolutely won't read when i plug it in via USB anymore. I use windows xp, other USB devices read no problem but the ipod won't at all anymore. Like i said i restored, reinstalled itunes and tried updating USB drivers but their either up to date or cannot find any. When i plug the ipod in it says no hardware recgconized, not like it even makes the sound it usually makes or anything so i check the drivers out while its plugged in and theres an "unknown device" which should be saying 'ipod" instead but it doesnt read it. So i dunno what to do i can't update that "unknown device" and reinstalling it does nothing it just does not read it. Another thing the ipod screen is like frozen saying "do not disconnect" even when not connected and the battery life shows too...i cant like turn it off i havent waited a long time for it to auto turn off so i dunno yet.
I looked around for a xp usb driver for ipods but no luck i either couldnt find one at all or they were all for other OS or newer ipods.
I have an old 20g non color ipod and i have over 100 songs to upload onto it again aside form the 900ish i alrdy have, only problem is when i open up itunes it tells me to restore it(meaning delete everything on it like it was out of the box) well i can't do that....i need a way to either upload my new songs on there or take the songs alrdy on the ipod and put them on my computer then i can "restore" it.
Basically i need some suggestions as to what i can do or use to either put songs onto my ipod or take the existing ones and save em on my computer. I do not have the option of updating my ipod it just highlights restore.
