Personally I am just confused how "as hell" is equated to "very." When reading such statements literal I am simply left confused.mindstorm

Really...it's just an expression. I don't believe in God and still say "Oh, my God."

I'm not trying to start anything; your confusion seems very silly to me.

Karin Dreijer Andersson and St Vincent are pretty much tied for my favorite. Yukimi Nagano of Little Dragon and Lykke Li are way up there too.

Edit: I forgot Ritzy Bryan of The Joy Formidable and Alisa Xayalith of The Naked and Famous

Neither show has "jokes". Both shows display humor through irreverent situations and naturally evolves through the writing.

Please shut the hell up. Both shows are good.

I am a huge fan of the Black Dynamite film. It was a near-flawless spoof of the blaxploitation films from the 70's and it stands as one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Needless to say, I was hella excited when early announcements of an animated series were made. When early images and clips were released, I was totally on board with the anime style similar to Boondocks.

A friend and I awaited the premiere with great anticipation, but about 5 minutes in, we both realized that we were being underwhelmed.

Sure, it had some great one liners, but the Michael Jackson storyline seemed a bit staid. With the exception of a scene demonstrating MJ's birth (the only moment that made me laugh in hysterics), the subject is just too tired to result in anything fresh. Disappointing premiere but I have more than enough faith in the team to improve with further episodes.

How about you?
