What is it with these big AAA games in the past few years just being full of disappointment? Titanfall. Destiny. And now NMS. I feel like people fall for the hype based on trailers alone which is idiotic considering that the trailers are crafted to make the game look good. You'd think people would've learn long ago about these deceptive marketing practices yet year after year people pre-order these massively advertised AAA games based on hype alone.... amazing.
@gotrekfabian: You know they're most likely gonna be added as DLC right? I'd rather have them take their time with each faction than putting them in all at once.
@dominoodle: That's an extremely small minority of soldiers compared to all of the black soldiers that served in the war. Plus, they weren't allowed to serve in integrated units until Truman. If this was a game about the Korean or Vietnam war it wouldn't be a problem at all to have a black soldier on the cover because they were part of the main frontline troops at that point. You can't say that for any way pre-1948 because the vast majority were relegated to support roles while a fringe minority got to serve in combat oriented regiments that were always under the command of white officers.
Umm why is the soldier black? Blacks weren't allowed to serve in combat positions until Truman took office. Not trying to be racist but history is history.
@Bread_or_Decide: Umm were you dropped as a baby? Where did I ever mention my age in my posts? You again make foolish assumptions when in fact I am in my mid 20s. It's best to get your head checked by the doctor since you seem to have a problem of making an idiot of yourself.
@Bread_or_Decide: I think you're the racist one here since I'm actually a homosexual Asian man. I prefer my comic book heroes to remain the same race/sex/sexual orientation that they've been known to be since their inception. If people want a homosexual/transexual, minority, or female super hero, writers are free by all means to create a new one to fit that image instead of lazily changing an already existing character.
