Halo would have had great potential, unfortunately blundered hard and dropped down in ratings when someone said "will be only available for vista" several months after vista was released and no halo 2 yet, vista is buggy and a extremely big resources eater only to make "flashy" effects, so for all the vaunted and preached directX10 stuff halo 2 became mediocre at best. List of blunders: 1.- Made for "vista" (aka slug-sta) OS. 2.- Co-op mode not available... again, not even via direct IP connection. 3.- For the vaunted wait for better images and quality, the pictures above show something that could be easily achieved using current XP OS easily. Conclusion: Halo 2 became just a 'hook-up' game, a desperate blatant attempt to get as many gamers into vista as possible besides the existing bugs and slowdown issues currently in the OS, Bungie should have thought this better.
