Good Movie Trailer, not as good as a video game trailer.

@Trunewb ahhhmmmm..... Planet Side 2: Basically will be 1000 vs. 1000 on a massive map.

@Frostyballoon Though, now that I watch the video a little, it looks a lot like Planet Side 2. hmmmmm.. lol

@Frostyballoon Nothing like it, Planet Side 2 is more on the "MASS" scale(2000 players on a large(Very Large)) map and with very large battles. I see this game(Dust 514) being mercenary's or soldiers fighting over land(maybe planets) in the EVE Online universe.

One word for this: DUMB :----->>> The idea of the game is good! Only one thing disturbs me, and that thing is how it is only for "PS3." My question is "WHY?" It makes no sense whatsoever to make this game for a console when Eve Online is a PC game. There are so many more things they could do with this game on PC. - People on Eve Online may be able to switch from being on Eve to being on Dust within a matter of seconds, or they could even integrate the games together. Also, the PC supports a lot more people(larger battles). It also seems like to much of a gap through tech to communicate players from a PC(Eve Online) to players on PS3(Dust 514). In addition, graphics may be substantially better if it was made on the PC for the PC. I am almost mind blown. I have nothing against PS3, it is just odd to make a game for PS3 that will be connected with the PC one. I am not trying to say they should have did it just for video graphics purposes. It is just weird.

Also, another thing is, how are they going to get more people to play if they make more costs. I personally don't get the logic. All of my friends don't like paying a shit-load for games like this anyways. Monthly subscriptions are for game that are or like mmo's that are constantly updated. - non-stop for years and years

I feel that that comment made no sense at all. I think it is more likely they will lose players who dislike noobs being able to have better gear without working for it.

In addition, I feel I have already commented enough on EA's last mistake of the noob gun and upgrade pack. Dice should really be working on making it possible to for modders to mod Battlefield 3 rather than trying for more money. I would rather see Project Reality 2 for BF3 than stupid payments for upgrades, shit, expansions, and more shit. BF3 is awesome though it is getting a bad representation for EA trying to match it up with CoD.

WTF, guarantee that this was EA's idea of making more money. I mean what should we expect. I love Dice! I dislove EA.

@y3ivan @lemmy2 I think you're getting ahead of yourself y3ivan, there are a lot more limitations than your mind for Minecraft and any game like it. You know it too. No circles or any other shapes apply to this game but squares. Also, if you want to build something actually awesome, try a game maker like the Unreal Engine.
