@huss2215: The last I heard, the DLC is still tied to the Season Pass which still separates the player base at the end of the day. What's worse is that players are required to buy the season pass with no option of a la carte. A lot of my friends who were playing BO4 at launch (at least 25 in my friend list on PS4) have now stopped playing almost altogether. Some went back to Fortnite, Overwatch or just single player games. In the past couple of weeks, I have seen a few of them playing Apex Legends (myself included).
I've always been a COD fan up until World War II and Black Ops 4, I played the betas and they just didn't feel like the COD games that I have known since 2007. I don't fault anyone who does enjoy the series still. I am actually hoping that the rumors of Modern Warfare 4 are true this year.
At least the comment section here is calmer compared to IGN where you have defenders of this game comparing PS4 players to the original Nazis of the 1940s.
This is fantastic. I am a huge fan of the Castlevania series and I cannot wait to see how Devil May Cry unfolds. This man knows how to stay true to gaming universes.
@bdl1980: No. I haven't forgotten that initial mess of a release. Granted, Capcom eventually fixed it but that didn't make me feel better when I had purchased SFV on day one along with a $100 fight stick. I was gutted when I discovered that all the bells and whistles that Street Fighter IV had were MIA in SFV.
I still play SFV with friends online. If Capcom were to announce Street Fighter 6, I know I would wait for reviews before I blindly buy on day one. Fool me once and all that.
That all said, I really hope that Dead Or Alive 6 proves its worth from Day One and not have us waiting for updates etc. I am anxious for Soulcalibur 6 in the meantime.
@Jag-T1000: Since the past DoA games have had that mode, I can't imagine them doing away with it especially after the blowback that Capcom got with Street Fighter V's initial release.
No one would blame you if decide against buying it if it doesn't have all the features that the previous games have had.
@jesterofbass: The benefits are still there. You have to go to the checkout page and you'll see the discount(s) or if you're on a computer, you'll see the Unlocked price beneath the item (or that's how it is for me currently).
I feel fortunate that mine doesn't expire until January 2020.

It'd be interesting to see if PS4 had the feature installed like Xbox One did if sales would have increased even more for Sony.
I remember when Microsoft announced the backward compatible feature, there were fanbots that claimed, "Xbox will dominate and win the console war!" I never understood the fanbot mentality. At the end of the day, I love my PS4 and Xbox One (though I wish there were more exclusives on it).
When it comes to gaming, to each their own. Who am I to judge someone?
On a side note, it's nice to engage in a civil conversation on these forums with people like yourself whereas, at other sites, it's a hot mess of ignorance.
