If you have played CivCity Rome by Firefly Studios, you know what the game offers -- great graphics, great music, and a truly immersive world in which to create a Roman city. It's a pleasure to play, with scores and ratings for everything, including city happiness, empire status, city beauty, and lots more. But it needs work.

Gamsepot's review tagline is "CivCity: Rome could have been a classic, but it wound up just another city builder." Yes. This is very true. It could have been a classic. It offers more than any other city builder out there, and it holds a lot of promise. This is one game that could truly be great, if a little work was poured into it. I'm writing to get your support so that Firefly will put the time and effort into this game, and make it one of the outstanding games of all time. It surely has all the potential. If you've played it, you know this. If you haven't, you should play it to see what I'm talking about. Currently, it's selling new in the box at $9.99. That's a bargain! You'll get your money's worth at that price, for sure.

But what I ask of you is two fold. 1. Play it. You'll get some entertainment out of it at the very least, and you may end up loving it like I and many others do. 2. If you do like it and see it's true potential, write to Firefly Studios and tell them that you're willing to buy CivCity Rome II or and expansion that fixes many of the problems with the game. In other words, I'm asking for community support -- support with convincing Firefly Studiios that CivCity II is worth making.

Tel Firelfly that droppiong this game is a real shame. It has GREAT potential, and very little needs to be done to make it a top notch city builder that makes the Best Games of All Time list. It can be done, but Firefly needs convincing. Please help by writing to them and telling them that it'd be a real shame to leave this game in the state it's in, and that you'd be very excited to see it mature and become what it could be.
