That's good to hear. No, I didn't have any particular game in mind. I just wanted to be sure that when I start buying games, I won't pick games no one is playing.

I'm going off to college next year and decided that I want to bring a PS3 with me for my dorm. I spent several months weighing my options and I decided that the PS3 was the right concole for me. That said, I'm very curious about the online community. My question is, which games have the best multiplayer communities?

Thanks in advance.

I've had two myself. Major pain that Microsoft doesn't send you packaging anymore. I had to buy $20 worth of bubble wrap the other day.

Ummm... the fourth dimension is time so if you're hoping to use the PS3 to go back in time and make out with your teenage mother ala Back to the Future, I think you'd be better off using a DeLorean .

The Wii for sure. I had such high hopes and then it turned out to be just a junkyard for shovelware.

Vista 64-bit. Don't listen to those who say Vista is broken. They are just restating the things they heard when Vista was first released. It has vastly improved since then.

Well, you might as well go to the source: http://www.apple.com/games/

There aren't nearly as many games for Mac as there are for Windows, that said, they seem to have some decent ones. You could try some Blizzard or id games. I would also suggest Unreal Trounament 2004. It's an older game, but I still play it constantly. Great game.

*I am not a Mac user so I can't say for sure how well these games hold up in a Mac environment.

If you're thinking about getting a Mac for gaming then you are barking up the wrong tree. For general use I think they are very overpriced. If you want to get a computer for just surfing the net then I suggest sticking with a cheap windows box or, if you wish to avoid viruses, a Linux distro. Ubuntu is a good choice for beginners and enthusiasts alike.

I recently upgraded from a 8600GTS to a 9800GTX+ and I have noticed a large increase in performance. I think it is fair to assume that you too will notice a difference. For $90, I don't see why you wouldn't buy it.

No, I haven't bought the ATi card yet. I want to get it over the 9800GTX as it has scored better in benchmark tests and as I said I want the better bang for my buck.
