@Lamachina Why? So it loses its unique Final Fantasy flavor? So the Japanese personality that is so prominent in its humor and quirkiness would be lost? So that the graphics would lose SE's flair with their animations and over-the-topness? So that it would no longer be the kind of game that its fans want it to be? Oh, and lastly, so that it loses the Japanese writers that give Final Fantasy its out there philosophical story-lines? Yeah, no. I'll pass on that. Western devs can produce brilliant games, but they will never produce Final Fantasy.

The producer's name is Naoki Yoshida. Also, thanks for finally posting an article like this! I've been excited about these changes for a while, and finally seeing it on a western website is nice. This game deserves to be heard about, and so does Square Enix for investing so much into its fans.
