My budget is a little over 2000$, but compared to the regular HD's 320 GB of space, the SSD's 128GB doesn't seem like the best choice since it would cost 225$ more for it. But then again, it is SSD...

So it'd be better to just stick with the normal HD for the time being?

Is it really worth shelling out an extra 300$ for?

Oh nevermind, found out the MBP only uses one GPU at a time instead of putting them both to good use at the same time. Knew it was too good to be true. Anyway, new question: would it be cheaper to buy a Solid State HD somewhere else rather than paying the infamous Alienware "Pay Out of Your Arse Price" for 500USD?

Hi, so I'm stuck between choosing an Alienware Area-51 m15x with a 512MB NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GT and an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz (6MB Cache 800MHz FSB) and the 15" Macbook Pro with an NVIDIA Geforce 9400M + 9600M GT w/ 512MB and an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz. Both laptops cost about the same and I would just run Windows on the Mac, so the only real difference is the graphics cards, processors, and maybe weight. So I'm wondering which one is better than the other and why.

Hello all, I'm going off to college so I'm getting a new laptop to accompany me on this voyage, so I was wondering what laptop would be suitable to play Fallout 3 on decent settings as well as Team Fortress 2 and maybe Left 4 Dead.
