@buffaloblitz85 @Lach0121 Ahh, but this kinda paints the picture of functional family = happily married, which also isn't always the case. (if I assume too much I apologize, it just seems as if this is the case, as this is often the portrail) Marriage could have 0 part in a family, and it work out great, that is my point.

While I have a few anger issues I am relatively fine. I don't conform easy, but that is a matter of my principle. However I went through a divorce at around 10 years of age. It wasn't a pretty one.

My parents still had an active role in my life, even though I played many of a questionable game (at questionable ages).

lol ironically my parents did get remarried (to each other) when I was 25 (I want to say) not something my sister, or I wanted in the slightest. lol

@buffaloblitz85 @Lach0121 of course, but marriage itself is the leading cause of divorce.

I have no need for a traditional property settlement (contract).

If we started to actually look at the parents/parenting (a logical choice I might add) then we would start to find that there is actually less of it happening, even though there are more parents/kids in the country than ever.

A few reasons for this.

Child birth has been a little over-worshiped especially when viewed with the lack of responsibility we have today. A little out of balance.

Parents now have to work longer hours, or more jobs, (or spend time searching for them) to take care of the child. (but since this is making people money, this won't be mentioned)

Parents are not ready to be parents themselves, though lack of responsibility (among other things leads to this) but still a problem.

Parents can't even be frank with their kids anymore, they have to contend with what is acceptable (politically correct is a decent example) at school for their kids. Mix that in with the fear of Child abuse (in some form) the parents are more afraid to be around, or say much around their kids.

But that is too complex of a discussion for a country that obviously still has some maturing to do.

Freedom ~ the ability to take (it) from others, in the justification of securing one's own.

This is what I see being the true intent behind the word masquerading as freedom, that so loosely falls off lips.

Sad thing is, most of this will be cheered for en mass. Much like turning our schools even more into prisons, (than they already are by design) by putting armed guards at each one.

Id say that looks pretty cool, it is an interesting addition. As long as it doesn't drastically kill performance. And I am not even a kinect fan at all.

Though didn't Sony have something similar to this about a year, or so ago?

Of course.

But, I can't wait till true freedom FROM religion.

I don't mean banning "faith" either. Just banning it from being Forced on others. Which still happens very much to this day, in this very country.

@FLEEBS You still missed the (high definition) console market.

May want to re-read that, again.

What I stated, that was absolute fact, was that the bible has horrific acts of violence throughout it. Read some of it, and you will find your proof.

I could care less if its considered novels, books, whatever, fact is millions of kids read it every day in this country. Why isn't it on the table, and the first thing they go to is video games. Hell they went after comics before that Bible.

Also, I was not being demeaning! I had 2 posts. Both factual.

1, stating that the bible has tons of violent acts. True.

2, Stating that what I said in that first post, (about the bible being full of violence) was true. No matter if the first guy that replied back to me, thought it is literal history, or not.

The laughing out loud, was mostly because it being considered book/religious text/ comic book etc... Was irrelevant!

Also you're post accusing me of atheist, further undermines your post here. I am not an atheist.

The fact that I don't paint religion up in a glorious light, its taken as I am being demeaning. About like how the Christians of this country, claim their beliefs are under attack, because people aren't letting them force them down their throats as much anymore!

Next time, try to make your post a little more legible. That wall of text could really be improved upon.

@Dezuria I had 4 replacements, and just gave up on 360 around 3-4 years ago.

RRoD was only for 1 of them, all of the others was that crappy, cheap-ass disk tray. Either open tray, or no disc detected.

The 360 is by far the least dependable/durable system I have ever seen, and I thought the PS2 was bad.
